I put these two together because I was cooking them tonight, but you’ve had them with other things, too. So, put them together or not — doesn’t matter, but here’s the Lemon Chicken and Fettucine recipe you’ve eaten your whole life.

Your momma TOTALLY CHEATS and starts with pre-seasoned Lemon Pepper thin sliced chicken. Because time is precious and feeding a family takes love but time is a precious commodity, so don’t be shamed by anybody for taking a short cut. Plus, the best food has LAYERED FLAVOR so start with Lemon Pepper Chicken!
Dust it with that flour, salt, pepper, garlic snow and pan fry it with oil. I used the Figment pan tonight instead of the cast iron (you’re welcome!), but you do you, boo.

Full disclosure — I forgot to take pics so this is the last batch and there’s flour bits on the bottom of the pan, but whatever, you get the point.
AT THE SAME TIME, boil some water for pasta. You know that i use the fancy fettucine from Central Market that has them in little nests, but that’s because Fancy Don’t Let Me Down.

Yes, I added salt.
It really only takes about 2 minutes for those little nests to cook, then you gotta throw them into a bowl with butter, garlic, and parmesan…..and parsley….

Drain the pasta. Stir it into the parmesan, garlic, butter, and parsley (and maybe a ladle of pasta water) together in a bowl. No, I don’t have measurements. You know what you like!!

Flip the chicken. Cook both sides equally. Put it on some paper towels. Move it to a serving plate. Squeeze lemon over it — capers optional. (I mean they’re mandatory in our house, but again – you do you!)

Then, ask your dad to make the salad by opening the bag from the store and mixing it in a bowl. This is intense stuff here!
Put it all together….

Dinner is served! With wine, naturally.
Enjoy and know without a doubt that you are loved by your momma!
